Evergreen Valley football player Dylan Ly is the boys athlete of the week for Oct. 7-12.

In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Ly finished with 62.19% of the votes. San Ramon Valley football player Matthew Garibaldi was second at 12.04%.

Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.

Ly, a senior, rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries in Evergreen Valley’s 22-8 win over James Lick.
