Violinists Etienne Gara and YuEun Kim and cellist Stella Cho will present works by Brahms, Vivaldi and Mozart in “MusiKaravan” on Feb. 2.
The trio formed after the pandemic resulted in shuttered music venues, and the musicians came together to play for farmers, winemakers and passersby.
The concert, presented by the Los Gatos Community Concert Association, is set for 2:30 p.m. at the Los Gatos High School theater. Tickets are $5-$35 at lgcca.com.
NUMU shares ‘Memory’
New Museum Los Gatos will host a virtual webinar with artist Priyanka Rana to discuss “Art, Memory and the Indian Diaspora” on Thursday, Jan. 30, at noon.
Rana, who is featured in the NUMU exhibit “Made of Memory,” and Beth Citron, curator of modern and contemporary Asian and Asian diaspora art at Asia Society, New York, will discuss Rana’s work and how she relates to her materials. Rana and Citron will be available to answer questions at the virtual event.
