The inaugural Silicon Valley Pizza Week will run through Saturday, Feb. 8, with special pizza creations and deals from restaurants in Santa Clara County, San Mateo County and southern Alameda County.

More than 50 restaurant locations are taking part in the promotion sponsored by Metro Newspapers, Yelp and local chambers of commerce.

Offerings include:

— A newly opened spot in San Jose’s Willow Glen, Craving Pizza, is offering discounts on small and large cheese and pepperoni pizzas, as well as savings on a Nutella Marshmallow Pizza.

— At Mio Vicino in Santa Clara, purchase any pizza and get a free glass of house wine, red or white.

— At Amici’s locations in San Mateo, Menlo Park and Mountain View, get $10 off any Detroit-style pizza.

— At Pizzeria Delfina in Palo Alto and Burlingame, a special creation has joined the menu this week. The Noci Pie is topped with walnut pesto, sweet herb sausage, cavolo nero (kale) and two cheeses, caciocavallo and mozzarella,

— At Tandoori Pizza in Fremont, San Jose and Sunnyvale, get 20% off the price of all medium and large pizzas.

— At the Last Round Tavern in San Jose, there’s a special creation at a special price ($26). The “Yo, Adrian!” pizza is topped with a tomato-vodka sauce, sliced chicken cutlet, pecorino, basil and garlic.

— At Parktown Pizza in Milpitas and Morgan Hill, receive $10 off any medium or large pizza.

Rollati, Last Round Tavern, A Slice of New York, Urban Putt, Nomikai, Tony & Alba’s, Pizza Way, Slice of Homage and San Pedro Social in San Jose; Terun and iTalico in Palo Alto; Gumba’s and Quarter Note in Sunnyvale; State of Mind in Los Altos, Redwood City and Palo Alto; and 18 locations of Pizza My Heart.
