Here’s the status for some retail chains with stores in the Bay Area:
Target: closed. All stores nationwide will be shut for Easter.
Costco: closed. All stores will be closed; Easter is one of the chain’s seven annual holidays.
Trader Joe’s: open. Regular Sunday hours will be in effect.
Safeway: open.
Whole Foods: open.
Home Depot: open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Starbucks: A corporate spokesman said holiday closures vary by location and advised checking the company’s app for a specific store’s hours.
