Bay Area superstar plots huge hometown show for fans

Keyshia Cole is heading home.

The R&B superstar has announced dates for her The Way It Is 20th Anniversary Tour — and they include a stop at her hometown of Oakland.

Keyshia Cole is set to perform July 31 at Oakland Arena.

The singer is celebrating the milestone anniversary of her hit debut — 2005’s platinum-plus-selling “The Way It Is.”

Keyshia Cole Oakland Arena tickets go on at 10 a.m. April 25, ticketmaster.com.

“I’m so grateful to be celebrating ‘The Way It Is’ 20 years later with the fans who have been with me since day one,” Keyshia Cole said in a news release. “This album changed my life, and being able to take it on the road — from city to city, country to country — is truly a full circle moment, and blessing.”

The tour’s support acts/special guests include Tink, Wale, Fridayy, Jeremih, Lil’ Kim, Jadakiss and T-Pain. (Note that not all of these artists are performing at each date.)
