ANTIOCH — A 31-year-old woman wounded in a shooting remained in critical condition at a hospital on Wednesday, police said.

The shooting happened at about 8:50 p.m. on Tuesday in the 3900 block of Delta Fair Boulevard. Responding officers found the woman with at least one gunshot wound, and she was taken by ambulance to a hospital.

Police said they believe the shooting was an isolated incident but released no other details.

They did not have a description of the shooter and did not say whether they believe there is more than one.

No arrests have been announced.
