Los Angeles wildfire map: Palisades, Eaton and other evacuations
Wildfires are burning across Los Angeles County this week, with five people known to be dead and hundreds of homes destroyed.
The map above shows four fires for which evacuations were ordered, with more details below.
1/ Palisades. Started on the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 7. More than 17,000 acres burned in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood and nearby wildland. News and photos
2/ Eaton. Started Tuesday evening. More than 10,000 acres burned near Pasadena. News and photos
3/ Hurst. Evacuation orders remain in place for an 850-acre fire at the north edge of the San Fernando Valley.
4/ Sunset. The evacuation order was lifted Thursday for a brush fire in the Hollywood Hills.
