The rainfall from this wave is expected to be lighter than Tuesday’s, which caused flooding and evacuation orders in the North Bay.
A flood watch was issued for parts of Marin and Sonoma counties and a wind advisory for much of the Bay Area.
In the Lake Tahoe area, snow was expected to start falling late Thursday morning, and a winter storm watch was in effect until Friday morning, the National Weather Service said.
