Bay Area: Super Bowl LIX watch parties, sports bars and Taylor Swift bingo

Sunday’s kickoff time is 3:30 p.m. for the Chiefs Eagles Super Bowl, but you’ll want to snag spots earlier to watch at one of the Bay Area’s popular sports bars or other venues

Here are options with plenty of screens — some are classic hangouts; others have only been around since Tom Brady started his encore career as a commentator.

Britannia Arms, Almaden, San Jose: The Super Bowl Blitz at the Brit kicks off at 11 a.m. with Taylor Swift Bingo, Swiftie prizes and Taylor-themed cocktails, followed the big game and Super Bowl Commercial Bingo, food and drink specials. The Lot, San Ramon: Watch the big game on a movie screen with theater seating. all-you-can-eat Tailgate Party food stations, plus raffles and outdoor games. Doors open at 2 p.m. Reserve tickets, $75 adults, $35 children. 6000 Bollinger Canyon Road.

Rickey’s Sports Lounge, San Leandro: Fans of all teams are welcome at the revamped Rickey’s, the legendary home of Raider Nation. Limited reservations left for Sunday’s watch party with DJ. The Hook Bar & Grill, Campbell: On Super Sunday, this neighborhood favorite with a dozen screens will host a potluck with drink specials. 2369 Winchester Blvd.

Retro Junkie, Walnut Creek: Fans 21 and older can watch the Super Bowl on a big screen and several TVs, play arcade games and pool before and after. Reserve free seating in advance (Eventbrite link) for the 2 p.m. event. 2112 N. Main St.

Double D’s Sports Grille, Los Gatos: It’s a fixed-price, reservations-only watch party at this legendary South Bay sports bar, and only a handful of tickets remain.
