A vehicle traveling eastbound on the highway toward eastbound Interstate 80 left the roadway and overturned around 3:19 a.m., according to the CHP.

The solo occupant of the vehicle sustained fatal injuries, the CHP said.

According to the CHP, speed and alcohol are believed to be factors.
